SECI to set up 10 MW of solar power projects in Rajasthan

SECI has floated a tender to develop 10 MW of solar power projects in Bagru Kala town, Jaipur district, Rajasthan, under competitive bidding. The projects will be developed on a build-own-operate basis. The power generated from the above projects will be sold directly to the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA). The PPA between the selected bidder and the JDA will be for a period of 25 years. The maximum tariff payable to the developer has been capped at Rs 3.20 per kWh. The scope of work involves setting up ground-based solar PV projects including a dedicated transmission network up to the interconnection or delivery point. The prospective bidders would need to pay a sum of Rs 4.5 million as earnest money deposit. The last date for the submission of bids is July 24, 2020.
