Maharashtra floats tender for developing 4 MW of solar power

The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has issued a tender for the development of around 3.98 MW of solar projects in the state. A capacity of 1.4 MW will be developed at Akola, 1MW at Vasai-Virar and 1.58 MW at Amravati. These projects are being developed under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) in Maharashtra. The scope of work includes the development and installation of the solar project and comprehensive maintenance for five years. The project must be completed within 120 days from the date of issue of the work order. The selected developer will have to give generation guarantee for a minimum of 1.5 MUs per MW per year from the commissioning of the project and provide web-based solar generation monitoring and data logging system. The last date for the submission of bids for all the three tenders is June 29, 2020.
