SECI extends submission deadline for 1.2 GW of wind-solar hybrid tender

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has extended the deadline for the submission of bids to set up 1.2 GW of wind-solar hybrid power projects in the country under tranche III of the interstate transmission system programme.The new deadline has been extended from February 25, 2020 to May 15, 2020. The projects involve the setting up of wind-solar hybrid power projects on a build-own-operate basis and selling the hybrid power to SECI.The interested bidders are expected to pay an earnest money deposit of Rs 500,000 per MW.
