The Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has issued a tender for setting up grid-connected rooftop solar PV power projects with a cumulative capacity of 20 MW in Andhra Pradesh. As per the tender document, the systems will be installed under the RESCO model. The solar project capacities have been divided into three packages with maximum capacities of 8 MW, 10 MW and 2 MW under the packages I, II and II, respectively. The successful developers will be responsible for the supply of solar PV modules consisting of the required number of crystalline PV modules, a grid-interactive power conditioning unit with remote monitoring structures, and a comprehensive onsite maintenance warranty for 25 years. The last date for bid submission is March 18, 2020.
EESL has also issued a tender for the procurement 100 MW of solar PV modules (of capacity 325 W and above) for a project in Maharashtra. The project is for the solarisation of agricultural feeders under the Maharashtra government’s Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana. EESL will supply the solar modules to system integrators who will set up the solar PV projects and provide operations and maintenance services for a period of 25 years. According to the tender guidelines, prospective bidders must submit Rs 3.3 million as the earnest money deposit.
