Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has announced the results of the fifth auction, which saw 500 kW solar projects being tendered. METI has revealed that in the latest auction, the lowest and the highest price offered were Yen 10.99 per kWh and Yen 13 per kWh, respectively. A ceiling price of Yen 13 per kWh had initially been set under the tender.
