The Government of Bangladesh has awarded a 55 MW solar power project to a consortium led by the Metito Group. The consortium includes Jinko Power and the AlJomaih Group as well. It had won the project at a tariff of $0.0748 per kWh. The project will be built in Rangunia, Chattogram, on the land provided by the Bangladesh Power Development Board, and is expected to be commissioned by 2021.
