Rajasthan targets 30 GW of solar, 2 GW of wind and 3.5 GW of hybrid capacity by 2024-25

Rajasthan’s recently released Solar Energy Policy, 2019 aims to achieve 30 GW of solar power by fiscal 2024-25. Of this, utility-scale solar parks will account for 24 GW, distributed generation for 4 GW, rooftop solar for 1 GW and solar pumps for 1 GW. The state has also notified its Wind and Hybrid Energy Policy, 2019, which aims to achieve 2 GW of wind power and 3.5 GW of hybrid power by 2024-25.
