CEL has invited bids for the development of 44 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects on a turnkey basis across Maharashtra. The scope of work includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the solar systems. As per the tender document, it will be the responsibility of contractors to operate and maintain the projects as well as deliver the guaranteed output for 10 years from the date of commissioning. CEL will set up the solar projects, with capacities between 0.25 MW and 10 MW, on open, unused land on the premises of existing substations of MSEDCL. The work is expected to be completed in 90 days. The last date for bid submission was December 30, 2019.
