Masdar to develop 400 MW of solar in Armenia

Masdar and the Armenian National Interests Fund signed an agreement in Abu Dhabi to develop 400 MW of solar PV projects in Armenia. The deal is expected to lead to an investment of $300 million-$320 million. The first part of the agreement, signed in July 2019, involves the construction of a 200 MW solar plant in western Armenia, using bifacial technology. It also includes the development, construction, operations and maintenance of ground-mounted PV installations, floating solar arrays and wind farms.
