BP will begin supplying Amazon Web Services (AWS) with renewable energy from more than 170 MW of new wind and solar projects in Sweden and Spain, starting 2021. Of the total capacity, 122 MW of power will be supplied from an onshore wind farm currently under construction in Sweden. And, a new solar farm in Spain is expected to supply 50 MW from 2021 onwards. The total capacity of 170 MW is enough to supply electricity to over 125,000 homes.
