GAIL Limited has floated a tender for a cumulative capacity of 1.8 MW of ground-mounted solar power projects to be developed at the GAIL complex in Vijaipur, located in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. The scope of work includes the redesign, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and complete operations and maintenance of the two projects of 1 MW and 0.8 MW capacities, respectively. The two solar projects will be constructed in parallel for captive use only. As per the tender document, prospective bidders will have to pay Rs 2 million as the earnest money deposit. The time provided for the completion of the project is eight months. The last date for the submission of bids is December 18, 2019.
