BHEL floats tender for 50 MW of solar projects in Maharashtra

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has issued a tender for a 50 MW solar power project for the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO). This solar project will be located at Kaudgaon in Maharashtra. The tender is for the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the projects. Through this tender, BHEL is also looking to procure the balance of system for the projects. The power generated from the solar project will be transmitted to the substation by connecting it to a 33 kV double circuit transmission line being installed by MAHAGENCO. The last date for the submission of bids for this tender is October 30, 2019.

 

In March 2019, BHEL invited bids for the procurement of 5,005 metric tonnes of module mounting structures for the development of 129 MW of solar PV projects. The projects are being implemented at various plant locations of Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Yellandu (39 MW), Ramagundam (50 MW), Manuguru (30 MW) and Pegadapalli (10 MW).

 

In February 2019, BHEL won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract worth Rs 5.65 billion for the development of 129 MW capacity at various locations owned by Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Telangana. The locations include Yellandu (39 MW), Ramagundam III (50 MW), Manuguru (30 MW) and Pegadapally (10 MW). The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning and O&M of the plants for a period of 10 years.
