Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) has invited bids to develop 50 MW of small-scale grid-connected solar projects in various states and union territories. These projects will be set up under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model on the rooftops of government buildings. The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing, and commissioning of the projects. A tariff ceiling of Rs 4.65 per kWh for general category and Rs 5.10 for special category states has been set. The last date for the submission of bids for this tender is November 2, 2019.
In September 2019, REIL issued a tender to install and commission 2 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects at several government buildings in Jaipur. An earnest money deposit of Rs 100,000 was required to participate in this tender. According to the tender, REIL agreed to hand over all the required material at the project premises and the project were to be completed ten weeks from the date of issuing the work order.
