SolaRack releases new waterproofing solution for flat roof solar projects

SolaRack, a solar racking manufacturer, has released a new stand-off waterproofing product, SolaSeal. The product is reportedly the first standoff waterproofing base built specifically for the solar industry. SolaSeal is meant to be deployed on flat roofs applications, such as torch-down, rolled asphalt shingles and thermoplastic polyolefin. The product was built as a response to traditional waterproofing tools. It is designed to be used with pourable sealants and requires 18 per cent less sealant then a waterproofing solution, which can generate significant savings for installers. The product has just one piece, and is rectangular-shaped like a standoff base.
