NTPC Limited has launched a global bidding process to build 1.2 GW of ISTS-connected solar projects across India. The solar plants will be developed on a build-own-operate basis. The projects will be awarded through international competitive bidding, with the tariff ceiling of Rs 2.65 per kWh. According to the tender guidelines, the projects can be set up at multiple locations. The minimum project size will be 50 MW. The bid submission deadline is 2 September, 2019.
