Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) re-invited request for proposal bids for providing consultancy services for conducting environmental and social impact assessment for implementation of the 1,500 MW solar power park project in Madhya Pradesh and its associated transmission lines. The last date for bid submission is August 30, 2019. The bids were earlier invited in September 2018.
RUMSL, a joint venture of the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, is developing three solar parks with aggregate capacity of 1,500 MW located in Agar (550 MW), Shajapur (450 MW) and Neemuch (500 MW) districts in the state of Madhya Pradesh. RUMSL has been designated as a solar power park developer by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy under its solar park scheme. It is being funded by the World Bank.
