Nine companies submit bids for 50 MW grid-connected solar PV projects in Maharashtra

A total of nine companies have submitted bids for development of 50 MW of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Maharashtra. These include Bharat Electronics Limited, Eurja Infrastructure, Hild Energy Private Limited, Kalpa Power Private Limited, KBH Energy Infra Services Private Limited, Purshotam Profiles Private Limited, Sunborne Energy Services India Private Limited, Surya Day Private Limited and Torp Systems Private Limited. The bids for the tender were invited in September 2018. The work is expected to complete in 120 days at an estimated cost of Rs 693 million.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, supply of equipment and materials and pre dispatch testing. The scope also includes inspection, packing, forwarding, unloading, storage at site, associated civil works along with erection, testing and commissioning of grid-connected solar PV power plants.

The plants will range from 500 kW to 10 MW at various locations in the state of Maharashtra. The developer will also be responsible for the construction of the associated transmission system up to 11 kV/22 kV/33 kV at designation locations on turnkey basis along with comprehensive operations and maintenance for a period of 10 years.
