The UAE Ministry of Education plans to introduce training initiatives for low-carbon forms of energy in its national education system. An MoU has been signed between Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, the UAE minister of education, and Francesco La Camera, the director general of International Renewable Energy Agency at the 17th IRENA, Council held in Abu Dhabi. The agreement identifies areas of cooperation in renewable energy integration and sustainable development. The cooperation aims to promote and support the achievement of the relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SDG 7 and SDG 13, in the UAE and across the world.
