The Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has invited request for selection bids for development of 25 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power projects in the state on July 20, 2019. The last date for bid submission is August 12, 2019.
The scope of work includes identification and site survey of rooftops, site visit, solar potential assessment, finalisation of feasibility report for identified locations. It also includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, storage, civil work and commissioning of the projects along with submission of project proposals.
The developer will also be responsible to ensure gross metering as per the state policy, quality control of the project including operations and maintenance for a period of 25 years after commissioning. The works are expected to be completed in nine months at an estimated cost of Rs 900 million.
The project involves development of 25 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power projects in government/semi-government buildings in Uttar Pradesh under Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model on gross-metering basis.
