Amplus invests Rs 5 billion in an open access solar project in Uttar Pradesh

Amplus Energy Solutions has invested in its second open access solar project of 100 MW in Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh. The investment in this project is nearly Rs 5 billion.

Amplus has already invested Rs 2.5 billion to establish a 50 MW solar open access project in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. The solar project in Mirzapur is still under construction and is likely to be commissioned by September 2019.

Amplus had also announced the installation of two open access projects in Haryana. According to the company, it owns India’s biggest single location open access solar project in Gadag in the state of Karnataka. The project supplies 175 MW of solar power to various businesses in the state.
