Bid due date extended for 57 MW solar PV project in Haryana

Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) has extended the bid due date for development of ground mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants of cumulative capacity of 57 MW at three sites of HPGCL in the state from July 17, 2019 to August 1, 2019.

Of the total 57 MW capacity, 12 MW will be developed at three locations at WYC hydel power plant at Yamuna Nagar in 58.75 acres of land, 15 MW will be developed on land adjacent to ash disposal area of Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram thermal power plant in 90 acres of land while, 30 MW will be developed on 151.78 acres of land available at Faridabad Thermal Power Station.  The land for the project is available with HPGCL and it will provide the same to the developer free of cost. The scope of work includes preparation of detailed project report, design, engineering, procurement, testing and commissioning of the solar power project.

The project will be developed on build, operate and transfer basis and a power purchase agreement will be signed with HPGCL for a period of 25 years. The project is expected to be completed in 10 months from the date of issuance of Letter of Intent at an expected project cost of Rs 1.8 billion.
