Udaipur floats tender for 300 solar pumps

The Public Health Engineering Department of Udaipur has issued a tender for 300 solar-based borewell water pumping systems, which will be installed across various villages and towns. According to the tender guidelines, a bidder must either be an indigenous solar PV module manufacturer, manufacturer of submersible pump sets, or a system integrator with experience in installing and commissioning modules, and solar-operated pumps for drinking water. The last date for bid submission is June 20, 2019. The scope of work under the project, which is valued at Rs 216 million, includes the installation, commissioning, and comprehensive operations and seven-year maintenance services for these pumping systems.
