BREDA invites RfP bids to set up 250 MW grid-connected solar PV power project

Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA) has invited Request for Proposal bids for setting up 250 MW of grid-connected solar PV power projects in the state on June 8, 2019. The last date for bid submission is July 11, 2019.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance of the project. According to tender documents, the bidder must either be an Indian company, or an Indian manufacturer, a PV system integrator, member of a bidding consortium or a special purpose vehicle formed to develop the project. The solar power developer must bid for a minimum capacity of 25 MW.

The tender further states that the successful bidder must have prior experience of design, supply, erection, and commissioning of solar PV-based grid-connected power project of at least 10 MW capacity.

The earnest money deposit for the tender is set at Rs 400,000, with the bidders required to have a minimum annual turnover of Rs 750 million of the quoted capacity during the previous financial year.

The project involves development of a 250 MW grid-connected rooftop solar PV power plant in Uttar Pradesh on build, own and operate basis.
