Bids re-invited for 750 MW solar power projects in Maharashtra

Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MSPGCL) has re-invited bids for implementation of 750 MW of grid interactive solar PV power plants at various locations in the state of Maharashtra on June 11, 2019. The last date for bid submission is July 11, 2019. The bids for the projects were earlier invited in June 2018.

The scope of work involves design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning to cater the AG feeder load of various substations. MSPGCL will sign the power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years with successful bidders at the tariff rate discovered through the reverse bidding.

On March 17, 2018, the Maharashtra government appointed MSPGCL as an implementing agency for the Chief Minister Solar Agriculture Feeder Scheme, MSPGCL has planned to install 750 MW with additional 250 MW of grid interactive PV solar power plants at various places in Maharashtra including 25 years of O&M on public-private partnership basis.
