NTPC Limited has further extended the bid due date for development of the 15 MW floating solar project in Koldam, Himachal Pradesh from June 10, 2019 to July 1, 2019. The bids for the project were invited in January 2019.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, testing and commissioning; site-grading, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system for remote monitoring and control of inverters with all hardware and software.
The scope of work also includes O&M of the plant along with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of trial run.
The project involves development of a 15 MW floating solar project at NTPC’s Koldam hydro electric power plant at Harnora in the state of Himachal Pradesh. NTPC intends to finance the project through its own resources. Also, the solar PV cells and modules for the project can be sourced from anywhere in the world.
