NHPC Limited has extended the bid due date for selection of an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for the development of the 40 MW solar power project in Odisha from May 31, 2019 to June 7, 2019. The bids were invited in April 2019.
The project involves development of the 40 MW crystalline PV grid-connected solar power plant including 132 kV transmission line and evacuation arrangement at Landeihil village in Jaganath Prasad tehsil of Ganjam district in the state of Odisha along with its comprehensive O&M for a period of 10 years.
The land required for the project will be allotted by Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation and the power produced will be evacuated by Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited.
