Hero Future Energies to receive $43 million from IFC for a 250 MW solar project in Rajasthan

Clean Solar Power (CSP), a subsidiary of Hero Future Energies Global Limited, is set to receive debt financing of up to $43.3 million from IFC, the financial arm of the World Bank. CSP has proposed the development, construction and O&M of a 250 MW greenfield solar project in Rajasthan’s Bhadla. The estimated cost of the project is $200 million. Along with debt financing, the proposed IFC investment involves the mobilisation of senior loans. The solar project is slated to sell the generated power to SECI under a 25-year PPA.
