A total of four companies have submitted the technical bids for implementation of Phase III of the 700 MW solar park project located in Raghanesda. These include Tata Power Company Limited (200 MW), Engie (200 MW), Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (100 MW) and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (100 MW). With this, the tender issued by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited on March 6, 2019 has been undersubscribed with an aggregate capacity of 100 MW.
The project involves development of 700 MW solar power projects on 1,407 hectares of land in the state of Gujarat on built, own and operate basis.
