Bids invited for 100 MW solar PV power projects in Telangana

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), on behalf of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has invited bids for development of 100 MW capacity under the 300 MW Telangana Solar PV Power Projects on April 22, 2019. The last date for submission of bids is June 7, 2019. The locations include Yellandu area (10 MW), Bhupalpally area (10 MW), Mandamarri area (28 MW), Mandamarri area (15 MW) and Kothagudam area (37 MW).

The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning and ten years of operations and maintenance (O&M) of the plants.

The project involves development of 300 MW solar PV power plants at various locations of SCCL in the state of Telangana for captive use. The proposed projects would be set up at an estimated cost of Rs 13.61 billion. Of the total cost, the equity portion is approximately Rs 4.08 billion which will be funded with the internal sources of SCCL. The remaining Rs 9.53 billion will be the debt component to be sourced through loans from banks or financial institutions.
