NTPC Limited has further extended the bid due date for development of the 15 MW Koldam floating solar PV project in the state of Himachal Pradesh from April 30, 2019 to May 7, 2019. The bids were invited in January 2019.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, testing and commissioning; site-grading. It also includes operations and maintenance of the plant along with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of trial run.
The project involves development of 15 MW floating solar PV project at NTPC’s Koldam Hydro Electric Power Plant at Harnora in the state of Himachal Pradesh. NTPC intends to finance the project through its own resources. Also, the solar PV cells and modules for the project can be sourced from anywhere in the world.
