The Electricity Department of Daman and Diu (ED-DD) has extended the bid due date for selection of an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the development of the 6.8 MW grid-connected wind power project in Diu from April 22, 2019 to May 24, 2019.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the plant including O&M for a period of five years. The work is expected to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 516 million.
The plant will be set up at the location where Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and Ujaas Energy Limited have already commissioned a 3 MW and 6 MW grid-connected solar projects, respectively.
