NTPC Limited has further extended the bid due date for development of the 15 MW floating solar project in Himachal Pradesh from April 16, 2019 to April 30, 2019.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, testing and commissioning and site-grading. It also includes O&M of the plant along with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of trial run.
The project involves development of 15 MW floating solar project at NTPC’s Koldam hydro electric power plant at Harnora in Himachal Pradesh. NTPC intends to finance the project through its own resources. Also, the solar cells and modules for the project can be sourced from anywhere in the world.
