RfS bid due date extended for 97.5 MW rooftop solar power plants in various states and UTs

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has further extended the Request for Selection bid due date for development of 97.5 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects at government buildings in different states and union territories (UTs) from April 11, 2019 to April 16, 2019. The projects are to be developed under the capital expenditure (capex) and the renewable energy service company (RESCO) mode. The project has been divided into three parts (Parts A-C) and the scope of work under each part is as follows:

Part A: It includes development of 10 MW capacity under capex model. Of the total capacity, 7.275 MW is for general category states and 2.725 MW is for special category states. A bidder must apply for a minimum aggregate capacity of 100 kW and maximum aggregate capacity of 1 MW.

Part B: It includes development of 85 MW capacity under RESCO model. Of the total capacity, 78.75 MW is for general category states and 6.25 MW is for special category states. A bidder must apply for a minimum aggregate capacity of 1 MW and maximum aggregate capacity of 10 MW.

Part C: It includes development of 2.5 MW capacity under CAPEX model and is for new entrepreneurs. Of the total capacity, 1.75 MW is for general category states and 0.75 MW is for special category states. A bidder must apply for a minimum aggregate capacity of 50 kW and maximum aggregate capacity of 250 kW.

The locations include Tamil Nadu, Assam, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Kerala, Delhi, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Assam, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Goa, Puducherry, Gujarat and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
