RfP bid due date extended for 500 MW grid-connected solar PV power project in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has further extended the Request for Proposal bid due date for the development of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power project of capacity 500 MW in Uttar Pradesh from April 9, 2019 to June 3, 2019. The scope of work includes design, supply, construction, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project.

According to tender guidelines, a single bidder must bid for a minimum and maximum capacity of 50 MW and 500 MW, respectively. The capacity of the plant applied should be in multiples of 5 MW. The developers can choose to develop the plant at a single location or at multiple locations, depending on their convenience and land availability.

UPNEDA has invited bids on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL). UPPCL will sign the power purchase agreement with the successful bidder for a period of 25 years.
