The Electricity Department of Daman and Diu has invited bids for the selection of an EPC contractor for developing the 6.8 MW grid-connected wind power project at Fudam in Diu. The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the plant. It includes O&M for five years. The work is expected to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 516 million. The plant will be set up at the location where BHEL and Ujaas Energy Limited have already commissioned a 3 MW and 6 MW grid-connected solar PV project respectively. The last date for submission of bids is April 22, 2019.
