Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) has invited RfS bids for the development of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects with a combined capacity of 12 MW. The rooftop systems will be set up under the Surya Shakti scheme. The total capacity of 12 MW is divided into six projects of 2 MW each. The locations are Guntur, Ananthapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore and Ongole. The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the plants. It includes O&M for five years from the commercial operation date. While the solar power generated will be utilised for captive use, the surplus power will be transmitted to the grid.
