Amar Raja Power emerges lowest bidder for Karnataka’s 50 MW solar project

Amar Raja Power Systems Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder for the EPC contract for the 50 MW solar power project to be set up in Pavagada, Karnataka. The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission has issued the letter of award (LoA) to the company. The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the 50 MW (2×10 MW and 2×15 MW) solar PV power project, and the associated transmission system along with comprehensive O&M for 10 years. Nodal agency Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited intends to finance the project through its own resources and/or utilise the grant of the 13th Finance Commission.
