Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has invited Request for Selection bids for development of the 1,200 MW inter-state transmission system-connected wind-solar hybrid power project (Tranche II).
According to tender guidelines, a single bidder must bid for a minimum 50 MW and maximum 600 MW capacity. SECI will sign a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the hybrid project developers for a period of 25 years from the date as per the provisions of PPA. The developers must report tie-up of 100 per cent of the financing arrangements for the projects within 12 months from effective date of PPA, in the form of loan sanction letter for debt component and board resolution for equity contribution. Also, the hybrid power projects are required to be designed for inter-connection with transmission network of central transmission utility at voltage level of 220 kV or above.
The projects will be developed on built, own and operate basis. The last for submission of bids is April 23, 2019.
