EPC bids invited for 23 MW of small HEP in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu & Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (JKSPDCL) has invited Request for Quotation-cum-Request for Proposal bids for the selection of an EPC contractor for the development of two 11.5 MW hydro electric plants in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

The scope of work includes investigation, overall planning, design and engineering of all civil structures of the project. It also includes construction of all civil works and associated infrastructure work. The scope also includes the design, manufacturing, transportation, supply, storage, erection, testing and commissioning of all electro-mechanical works such as turbine generator units along with associated auxiliaries and ancillary equipment.

The developers will also be responsible for the design, manufacturing, transportation, supply, storage, erection, testing and commissioning of hydro-mechanical works. The work is expected to complete in 54 months. The last date for submission of bids is May 10, 2019.
