Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSDCL) has invited Request for Selection bids for the development of grid-connected roof top solar PV projects with a combined capacity of 12 MW. The rooftop systems will be set up under the Surya Shakti Scheme. The total capacity of 12 MW is divided into six projects of 2 MW each. The locations include Guntur, Ananthapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore and Ongole.
The scope of work includes design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the plants. It also includes O&M of the systems for a period of five years from the commercial operation date (COD). The solar power generated will be utilised for captive use and the surplus power will be transmitted to the grid.
