UPNEDA invites RfP bids for 500 MW grid-connected solar PV power project in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has invited RfP bids for the development of the 500 MW grid-connected solar PV power project in Uttar Pradesh (UP). The scope of work includes design, supply, construction, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of the project. According to the tender guidelines, a single bidder must bid for a minimum of 50 MW and can bid for a maximum of 500 MW. The capacity of the plant should be in multiples of 5 MW. The developers can choose to develop the plant at a single location or at multiple locations, depending on their convenience and land availability. The project will be developed on BOO basis. UPNEDA has invited bids on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, which will sign the PPA with the successful bidder for a period of 25 years. The last date for bid submission is February 14, 2019.
