Siemens Gamesa has won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from ReNew Power Limited for the supply of 270 wind turbines for two wind power projects of 567 MW cumulative capacity located in Gujarat and Karnataka. The scope of work includes supply, installation and commissioning of 127 SG 2.1-122 wind turbines for a wind power plant at Bhuj in Gujarat and 143 SG 2.1-122 wind turbines for a wind power plant at Davanagere in Karnataka. Both the projects are expected to be commissioned by June 2020.
