The Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA) has invited Request for Proposal bids for the development of 200 MW of grid-connected solar power projects under type-I category of Uttarakhand Solar Energy Policy-2013.
According to tender guidelines, the capacity of each solar power project will be minimum 100 kW and maximum 5 MW. The total aggregate capacity of solar plants to be allocated to a company including its parent, affiliate or any group company will be limited to 50 MW. Also, the capacity of the plants will be in multiples of 100 kW. The UREDA has invited bids on behalf of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL). UPCL will sign a PPA with the successful bidders for a period of 25 years. The last date for submission of bids is March 15, 2019.
