The Electricity Department of Daman and Diu has invited bids for selection of an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for development of the 6.8 MW grid-connected wind power project located at Fudam in Diu.
The scope of work includes- design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the plant. It also includes O&M of the plant for a period of five years. The work is expected to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 516 million.
The plant will be set up at the location where Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and Ujaas Energy Limited have already commissioned a 3 MW and 6 MW grid-connected solar PV project respectively. The last date for submission of bids is April 22, 2019.
