Amar Raja Power emerges as lowest bidder for 50 MW solar power project in Karnataka

Amar Raja Power Systems Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the 50 MW solar power project to be set up in Pavagada. The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission has also approved the issue of Letter of Award to the company.

The scope of work includes- design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the 50 MW (2 x 10 MW and 2 x 15 MW) solar PV power plants and associated transmission system along with comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 10 years.

The Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited is the nodal agency for the project and intends to finance the facilities through its own resources and/or utilising the incentive grant of the 13th finance commission received from the MNRE.
