Siemens Gamesa has won an engineering, procurement and construction contract from ReNew Power Limited for supply of 270 wind turbines for two wind power projects of cumulative capacity 567 MW located in the states of Gujarat and Karnataka.
The scope of work includes supply, installation and commissioning of 127 SG 2.1-122 wind turbines for wind power plant at Bhuj in the state of Gujarat and supply, installation and commissioning of 143 SG 2.1- 122 wind turbines for wind power plant at Davanagree in the state of Karnataka. Both the projects are expected to be commissioned by June 2020.
