The Uttarakhand Irrigation Department (UID) has invited Request for Proposal bids for the development of the 40.84 MW grid-connected solar PV power project in the state. The locations include the periphery of two dams, Haripura (27.34 MW) and Tumariya (13.5 MW). Both dams are located in the Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand. The work is expected to be completed in 12 months at an estimated cost of Rs 1.61 billion.
The UID will sign a PPA with the successful bidder for a period of 25 years and will also provide the required land for installation of the plant. The projects will be developed on build, operate, own and transfer basis and the last date for submission of bids is February 15, 2019.
