LoAs issued to SP Infra, TEP Solar for 100 MW grid-connected solar PV power projects

The Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) has issued Letters of Award to Shapoorji Pallonji Infrastructure Capital Company Limited (SP Infra) and TEP Solar India Mauritius for the implementation of 100 MW capacity under the 200 MW grid-connected solar PV power projects to be developed in Karnataka. TEP solar has won the bids for developing 80 MW (4 x 20 MW) capacity in Mundargi, Gajendragad, Kuragodu and Gurmatka talukas and SP Infra has won the bids for developing 20 MW capacity in Maski taluka.

The project involves development of 200 MW grid-connected solar PV power plants across 10 takulas in the state of Karnataka. Each taluka will have solar projects aggregating 20 MW each. In October 2018, Asian Fab Tec Limited was issued the LoA for the implementation of the remaining 100 MW capacity under the 200 MW project.
