HAREDA invites bids in three categories for 20 MW rooftop solar power project

The Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) has invited bids in three categories for the 20 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power projects in Haryana. The categories are as follows:

  • Category I: It comprises projects in the range of 50 kWh to 100 kWh.
  • Category II: It comprises projects in the range of 101 kWh to 500 kWh.
  • Category III: It comprises projects in the range of 501 kWh to 1,000 kWh.

According to the tender guidelines, a single bidder must bid for a minimum of 2 MW capacity.

The scope of work includes supply of solar power to the user by installation and commissioning of the rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) plants of prescribed capacity. The successful bidder will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the plant for a period of 25 years under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) mode. It also includes obtaining no objection certificate from the distribution company and installation of bi-directional meters.

The HAREDA has been designated as the state nodal agency for the project and the sites for the same are yet to be identified. The last date for submission of bids is February 15, 2019.
