MSPGCL invites RfS bids for wind solar hybrid project in Maharashtra

Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MSPGCL) has invited Request for Selection bids for procurement of power from wind solar hybrid projects in the state.

MSEDCL has identified sites owned by Maharashtra Energy Development Agency for development of the plants. The locations include- Motha in Amaravati district, Chalkewadi in Satara city, Gudhepanchgani in Sangli city, Vijaydurg in Sindhudurg district and Sautada in Tal Patoda taluka of Beed district with a total installed wind capacity of 11.34 MW. About 201.22 hectares of spare land is available at these sites.

The projects will be developed on built, own and operate basis and MSEDCL will sign a power purchase agreement with the selected bidder for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date. The last date for bid submission is February 1, 2019.
